The Park Hotels in India has announced two luxury, boutique projects that will grow its portfolio to 11. New-builds will open in Goa in the last quarter of 2011 and Kochi in the first quarter of 2012.
“We are a 40-year, family-owned business, and our goal is to have 20 properties by 2020,” said Priya Paul, chairperson of Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels, Kolkata, India.
The 33-room hotel in the heart of Calangute, Goa, will be located on Candolim Beach. A primarily white canvas will be accented with dramatic splashes of color and custom furnishings. The architectural vision is for the pool deck, bar and restaurant to extend out onto the beach.
Situated in the heart of Kerala’s central district, The Park Kochi will reflect "modern Kerala" by fusing traditional and contemporary styles and cultural elements. One of the largest tower hotels in the city with a helipad, The Park Kochi will feature 175 rooms and suites, including a special Residence floor to provide enhanced service, comfort and convenience for business travelers.
