About the role
You and your team will further develop our visitor services and commercial activities, including the catering and retail businesses. As well as making sure that we’re doing everything we can to inspire and involve people in our work, we’ll look to you to explore new opportunities to achieve targets and generate revenue for us. After all, the more people we can attract to our special places, the more income we can raise for our vital work. You’ll also create marketing plans to promote these services, develop our programme of events and activities, and attract new people to experience and enjoy everything that Central Lancashire has to offer.
In this role, there will be a requirement to work weekends and Bank Holidays.
About you
You’ll be charismatic and able to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that will delight visitors. You’ll be an inspiring manager and a creative, commercially sharp thinker. Bringing sound organisational, people and financial management skills, you’ll have solid experience in a similar role and are keen to put it to the best possible use. In addition to a relevant qualification you’ll bring plenty of marketing flair to the role and have a passion for providing the highest levels of customer care
