We are currently recruiting a KITCHEN PORTER to join our team.
Duties include:
• Responsible for the day to day organisation & cleaning of the delivery area & external areas of the hotel.
• Assist with food & non food deliveries as requested ensuring the correct procedure is adhered to & records kept in line with the company Food hygiene policy.
• To use the correct PPE and to communicate with the Head Chef if damaged or needs replacing
• To control cleaning product costs ensuring safe storage, separation & rotation of products.
• Implement the Health and Safety policy & ensure the delivery is free from obstructions.
• To be aware of unsafe practices, such as dangerous stacking, so that these practices can be superseded by safe procedures.
• Support with the organisation & cleanliness of the refuse area.
