Federico Trulli, who is originally from Rome, has just been appointed Food and Beverage Manager at the Best Western Roker Hotel, Roker Terrace, where he originally worked six years ago. The 29 year-old, who now lives in Sunderland, previously spent three years as Restaurant Manager at the hotel, before leaving to hone his skills at various outlets around the North East.
His return coincides with a complete rebranding of the hotel’s Tavistock Italia Retro restaurant, previously Tavistock Italia, including the launch of a new menu offering a wider range of ‘retro’ Italian classics and a selection of more contemporary cuisine.
