These hotels will be spread across the country in Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities with a special focus on key manufacturing and trading cities. Best Western International is focused on expansion of its presence in India and is confident that India will play a prominent role in the global growth plan of the company. The company plans to open 10-15 hotels every year in India and will also focus on the growth opportunity beyond the metros where quality hospitality is just emerging especially in the Tier 2- Tier 3 cities”. According to Devang Amin, Chairman, Best Western International Inc, the company’s focus area will be its Best Western Plus and Best Western Premier (four star and five star properties respectively). He further added, “Hotels need solutions that enable them to grow their earnings and drive more traffic and build loyalty. Best Western addresses these needs and redefines hospitality partnership by providing the broadest portfolio of proven, integrated, and adaptive solutions.” The company plans to launch 20 Best Western Premier hotels (five star property) within the next five years. At present, Best Western India has 34 properties with 2581 rooms in operation and various stages of development. With 66 hotels in the next five years, the company hopes to increase its capacity to 5919 rooms. The company is managed by Cabana Hotel Management Pvt. Ltd. in India.
