Sarovar Hotels & Resorts has entered into an agreement with Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) to manage their training center at Andheri in Mumbai and Indian School of Business (ISB's) campus at Mohali, Punjab. This arrangement will further position Sarovar Hotels & Resorts as one of the key player in the corporate hospitality services segment, according to company release.
HUL's training center comprises an accommodation block with 75 rooms and suites, a food court and training facilities including classrooms and discussion areas. Sarovar Hotels & Resorts will manage the front office, Food & Beverage and housekeeping operations at the centre. Commenting on the tie-up, Anil Madhok, Managing Director, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, said, “Corporate Hospitality Management is a segment where we want to expand our presence further. We are proud to be the hospitality partners of India’s largest FMCG company.” The first batch at the ISB Mohali campus will commence this summer of 2012. The facilities include rooms, food & beverage service and production, housekeeping and engineering services. Sarovar Hotels & Resorts presently also manages hospitality services since 2008 at the prestigious IIM Ahmedabad, and was also associated with ISB Hyderabad for 10 years.
