Arza Bibi Kebab Pvt. Ltd, a Delhi-based Kebaberie chain, plans to expand in India, with an emphasis on Delhi/NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore, in a year’s time. The chain plans to open 25 outlets in Delhi.
Hridesh Sarna, CEO, Arza Bibi Kebab, told FnB news, "We have finalised a location in DLF Phase 3 Gurgaon, this location is surrounded by a dense population mix of residential along with corporate. Other destinations will be finalised in the coming months." The QSR chain is known for serving its signature mutton nihari with hot tandoori rotis. The chain also offers 27 different types of kebabs - meat, cheese, fish and vegetables - each one flavoured with rare spices and rendered succulent over charcoal fire. Speaking about the growing trends in the QSR segment, Sarna said, “Fast food is one of the world’s fastest-growing food types. India is seeing rapid growth in the fast food and restaurant industries. It now accounts for roughly half of all restaurant revenues in the developed countries and continues to expand. The trend is radically changing the way people eat in India. QSR format in the Indian food & beverage industry is a well-accepted format. It is more convenient for the customers who are on move and have less time because of their work formats.” At present, the chain has three outlets operational in The Central Plaza Mall, Golf Course Road, Sector 53, Gurgaon; DLF Supermart 1, DLF Phase IV Gurgaon; and DLF Galleria Complex, DLF Phase IV, Gurgaon; along with Khan Market, New Delhi, opening soon.
