The Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek has appointed Rekha Jayawardana as the new Director of Sales and Marketing for the hotel. An Indian national, Rekha boasts ten years of experience within the hospitality in the Sales and Marketing field.
Her hospitality career began with Le Meridien Dubai, where she worked for nine years before moving to Rezidor group in 2009 and the most recent position was Director of Sales and Marketing at Radisson Blu Residence, Dubai Marina from where she climbed her way up to her recent position. She was recognized as a top performer consistently achieving annual sales, financial goals and ability to increase market share and increase profits. Radisson Blu Hotels & Resorts, part of The Rezidor Hotel Group, currently includes more than 225 hotels either in operation or under development and 52,800 rooms in Europe, the Middle East and Africa
