Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group announced its fourth hotel in Tunisia, The Park Inn by Radisson Sousse. The property featuring 234 keys is scheduled to welcome the first guests in 2013. As per a release, the existing property is currently undergoing a complete renovation before joining Rezidor's mid-market brand Park Inn by Radisson. "We strongly believe in the Tunisian market, and aim to support the tourism sector that is stabilising again after the Arab Spring.
The country offers a fascinating culture, a favourable climate, and proximity to many European feeder markets", said Kurt Ritter, President & CEO, Rezidor. The Park Inn by Radisson Sousse will comprise 234 guest rooms, three restaurants (all-day dining, à la carte, pizzeria and barbecue) as well as four different bars and 500 square metre meeting space including a ballroom. The property was one of the first hotels in Tunisia to offer Thalasso treatments, so post-renovation, also the Park Inn by Radisson will showcase over 2,000 square metre of Thalasso and spa facilities. The hotel will include indoor and outdoor.
