Warnick + Company, one of the world’s leading hospitality asset management and advisory firms, has further expanded its presence with the opening of a fifth U.S. office in Minneapolis, Minn. With offices in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York, the newest location adds to the Phoenix, Ariz.-based company’s growing national presence. Chad Sorensen has been named Principal overseeing all operations of the new office. Sorensen was a founding member of Warnick + Company’s Chicago office over a decade ago. Since joining the firm,Sorensen has focused on asset management, troubled property turnarounds, transition management services, and improving the performance of hotels and resorts owned and/or financed by the firm’s clients. Sorensen, an active member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (“ISHC”) and the Hotel Asset Managers Association (“HAMA”), holds an MBA from The University of Illinois and a BS in Hotel Restaurant & Institutional Management from Iowa State University. He was formerly with Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and E&Y’s hospitality consulting group in Chicago.
