Regal Hotels International has signed a five-star airport hotel project with Xi’an Xianyang International Airport Co., Ltd. in Xi’an, China. The Regal Airport Hotel is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2014. With a building area about 54,000 square metres, the eight-storey hotel will feature 300 guestrooms and provide a coffee shop,
lobby lounge, speciality restaurant and a Chinese restaurant. The upcoming hotel will be adjacent to Terminal 3A of the airport, the biggest transportation hub and the bridgehead in Northwest China. There will be ample meeting and function rooms, including a grand ballroom together with a range of recreational facilities including a swimming pool, spa, fitness centre, among others.
