Hilton Worldwide announced that Pezula Resort & Spa, in South Africa (SA) is set to join the luxury portfolio of Conrad Hotels & Resorts following the signing of a management agreement with resort owners, Alderney Establishment. Conrad Pezula Resort & Spa, expected to re-brand in November 2012, will mark the debut of Conrad brand in SA, and will be located in Knysna,
between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. The hotel will host 78 suites housed in detached villas and five larger family villas, linked by short landscaped pathways to the main building. One unique addition to the resort accommodation is Pezula's award winning private castle, built in the cliff. Patrick Fitzgibbon, Senior Vice President, Development, Hilton Worldwide, Europe & Africa, said, "I am excited at the prospect of our luxury Conrad brand making its debut in SA with such a well known resort property. Conrad Pezula Resort & Spa will be a valuable addition to our growing international hotel portfolio." The property also includes executive boardrooms, a business centre, spa and health club, the hotel's main restaurant - Zachary, among others.
