The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, an enterprise of Bharat Hotels Ltd, today, announced its foray into the European market with its property in London - The Lalit London. The 70-room hotel is expected to open by the end of 2014 followed by the properties in Thailand and Dubai. The property was acquired at a guide price of GBP 15 million. The group will be investing approximately GBP 12 to 13 million in restoration and development.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Jyotsna Suri, Chairperson & Managing Director, The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, said,

The building – St Olave’s, is a Grade II listed former grammar school near Tower Bridge, located in the heart of London. The Lalit London would be a part of the larger real estate development of the One Tower Bridge by Berkeley Homes. "The Lalit London is expected to attract significant corporate and leisure demand from all over the world," added Dr Suri. The property will have a bar, fine dining restaurant, spa, gym, meeting rooms, among others.
