Centerstone Hotels is proud to announce the grand opening of their first new construction property, the Centerstone Hotel Warner in West Chester, PA. The 80-room property will officially open to the public on August 17, 2012.
The Centerstone Hotel Warner, developed by The McFadden Group, is an adaption re-use of the historic 1930’s Warner Theater from Warner Brothers. The actual theater now makes up the lobby and public space and a new tower has been built to house the guest rooms.
“We kept whatever historic beauty we could. The façade repeats the style of original fret work, and we repeated its architectural medallions on bump outs. Inside, the actual 1930s staircase is still here, and we styled stamped bronze ceilings and chandelier pendants after the era,” said Ellen McFadden of The McFadden Group.The property is located right in the center of downtown West Chester, PA, named by a national trust for a dozen distinctive destinations and historic preservations. West Chester is known for its historic nature with 100’s of shops, restaurants and galleries as well as gardens and cultural tourist attractions. Centerstone CEO Steve Belmonte said, “We’re thrilled to have this premier property in the Centerstone system. It’s historic background and picturesque location makes it a truly special property and we could not be happier.” Inns of Distinction will manage the property, which offers many features like an indoor heated pool, fitness center, complimentary breakfast and parking. The Centerstone Hotel Warner will also boast eco-friendly features like geo thermal heat systems and solar panels.
