Targeted to business clientele, the hotel will have a sea food speciality restaurant, a coffee shop, gymnasium and conference hall. Jayasheela Shetty, Director, Lotus Pond Hotel Pvt Ltd, said, “We were in talks with other hotel chains. However, the response, which we received from Carlson was encouraging. Carlson is an established brand in India and also a dedicated brand for the mid-market segment and hence we decided to tie up with them for our mid-market hotel.” He added, “The hotel is centrally located in Thane-Belapur road and also surrounded by business hub. The upcoming airport will be an added advantage to the property.”
