Institute of Hotel & Tourism Management, Maharshi Dayanand (IHTM MD) University, Rohtak organised a national seminar and hospitality summit on ‘Shaping Youth for Hospitality & Tourism Industry’ today at its university campus.
Dr R N Pandey, Additional Director General, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India was the Chief Guest.
The core objectives of the seminar were to identify the issues and challenges experienced by HR professionals in the hospitality and tourism industry; to discuss ways to review current HR practices developed to cater to the need of the youth (new generation employees); and to outline the contour of experiences in dealing with the challenges associated in shaping the youth for hospitality.
