NEWS| Sheraton expands in Greater Philadelphia


Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc has announced the opening of 180-room Sheraton Valley Forge Hotel in King of Prussia, in Greater Philadelphia. It is owned and operated by Wurzak Hotel Group. “We are delighted to grow the Sheraton brand in greater Philadelphia by offering travellers a great location within the bustling King of Prussia business corridor,” said Hoyt Harper, Senior Vice President, Sheraton Hotels & Resorts.
The lobby’s dynamic open design is enhanced by soaring, 25 feet ceilings, an abundance of natural light and custom-designed furniture. All guest rooms are outfitted with the all-white Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed, designed to meet AAA’s Five Diamond Award criteria, an oversized work desk, ergonomic chair, high-speed Internet and 42-inch flat panel television. Sheraton Club guests will enjoy upgraded amenities, as well as complimentary breakfast, beverages and evening hors d’oeuvres in the Sheraton Club Lounge. “As the leading full-service hotel in the area, Sheraton Valley Forge offers guests the entire brand’s recently improved amenities in an unbeatable location,” said Howard J Wurzak, Chairman and CEO, Wurzak Hotel Group. The property provides more than 25,000 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting space including 13 conference rooms and two executive board rooms. Additional amenities include an indoor pool and full-service restaurant. The hotel’s fitness facility features the brand’s revolutionary new health and fitness program, Sheraton Fitness, Programmed by Core Performance, designed exclusively for Sheraton guests through its partner Core Performance.
