The property last underwent a major renovation when Belvedere shifted from the Omni Netherland flag to Hilton in the early 2000s. This time, the remodelling will include updated fire and safety systems, high-definition TVs and wireless Internet systems. New furniture, safes and window treatments will be installed in all rooms on a rolling schedule aimed at keeping rooms in service as much as possible.
