Premier Inn, UK’s budget hotel chain, and a part of Whitbread Plc, recently reached the 50,000-room landmark with the opening of the 640th property at Gatwick Airport. The 630-room property is the largest Premier Inn property to date, and is targeted at leisure and business guests. All rooms feature an en-suite bathroom, double bed with duvet, remote control TV,
tea and coffee making facilities and a desk area. Encouraged by the robust development of the chain, the company also has expansion plans for international markets like South Asia, South East Asia and the Arabian Gulf regions.
