The Orchid, Mumbai has appointed Navid Akhtar as Executive Chef. Prior to this, he was working as an Executive Chef with Sarovar Hotels & Resorts.
Akhtar has been associated with the hospitality industry since the last two decades and has worked with various cruise liners as well as hotels.
He started his career with The Retreat and worked with Taj InterContinetal Hotel, Mumbai. Subsequently he joined P&O Cruises, London, wherein he was associated with the opening of five-star cruise, Oriana. He later moved to Abu Dhabi and worked as an Executive Chef. He has also worked at Hotel Marine Plaza, Mumbai.
