Hilton Hotels & Resorts will open a property in the coastal city of Batumi next summer, while the Hilton Garden Inn brand will debut in the capital Tbilisi in 2016.
The 247-room Hilton Batumi will feature a "destination" restaurant and a rooftop bar overlooking the Black Sea. The hotel will form part of a multi-purpose site, which will also include a retail unit, casino and health club. Hilton Garden Inn Tbilisi Chavchavadze will be located in the heart of the city's business district. It will stand at 14 storeys tall and contain 165 rooms. Features will include a restaurant offering all-day dining, while snacks will be available from the 24-hour "Pavilion Pantry". The hotel will also be equipped with a round the clock business centre and a fitness complex featuring an indoor swimming pool. Both hotels are joining the Hilton portfolio following the signing of two separate management agreements.
