Oakwood, a serviced apartment brand in Asia Pacific under Oakwood Worldwide's portfolio, appointed Lemuel Herbert as Area Manager for Bengaluru, India. Herbert will report to the Director of Operations for South and Southeast Asia.
In this capacity, Herbert will be responsible for leading and driving operational excellence at Oakwood’s two properties in Bengaluru. These include the Oakwood Premier Prestige Bangalore and the newly opened Oakwood Residence Prestige Whitefield Bangalore.
Herbert brings with him more than 27 years of experience in the hospitality industry and has demonstrated expertise across all hotel operations and management. Prior to joining Oakwood, he spent 14 years with The Park Hotels in India as an associate Vice President and Area General Manager at The Park Bangalore, The Park Chennai, The Park Pod and was also in charge for various projects for The Park in Chettinadu. During his tenure, Herbert successfully conceptualised and launched the Appejay Institute of Hospitality, The Park Hotels’ Center of Learning.
