The Taj Hotels, Resorts & Palaces will rebrand their two landmark properties in the city of London with prominence to ‘Taj’ branding from the New Year.
With the rebranding, 51 Buckingham Gate – Taj Suites & Residences will become ‘Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites & Residences’; and Crowne Plaza London St. James will become St James’ Court – A Taj Hotel from January 7, 2014.
The UK was one of the first Western markets where the Taj Group established their presence in the early 1980s and St. James’ Court was the oldest among the properties acquired during the initial international expansion drive of the Taj Group. Located in the heart of Westminster, near the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and Whitehall, these hotels are a short walk from Buckingham Palace and St. James’ Park.
