Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide signed an agreement with Amrey Hotels S.L. to operate a Four Points Hotel in Barcelona, Spain starting this fall, a first for the brand.
The hotel will be named Four Points by Sheraton Barcelona Diagonal and be located off the Mediterranean coast. The building will be converted from the existing Amrey Diagonal Hotel currently operated by Amrey.

This successful relationship goes back more than five years with our Le Meridien Ra Beach Hotel & Spa just outside of Barcelona", said Roeland Vos, president of the Starwood Hotels & Resorts Europe, Africa and the Middle East division.
Starwood currently operates 15 hotels throughout Spain under six of its nine brands. These hotels include the recently opened W Barcelona, the Marques de Riscal and the Hotel Alfonso XIII in Seville, the latter of which is currently undergoing a major renovation.
