Four Points by Sheraton set for massive expansion in Indonesia

In just over a year, Four Points by Sheraton – the mid-scale brand under Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, has opened six properties in key tourist destinations across Indonesia, including Surabaya, Bandung, Makassar, Bali and, most recently, Jakarta with the opening of the 164-room Four Points by Sheraton Jakarta, Thamrin, earlier this year in August.

Four Points by Sheraton expands in Canada

Four Points by Sheraton brand is continuing its rapid expansion across Canada with the opening of Four Points by Sheraton Kelowna Airport. Owned by Argus Properties and managed by Pacrim Hospitality Services, the centrally located 120-room property includes 4,500 square feet of meeting facilities. It is the 24th Four Points hotel to open in Canada, where the brand is on track to reach 27 hotels by the end of 2013. “We are delighted to debut Four Points by Sheraton in Kelowna as demand for the brand continues to rise in dynamic markets across Canada,” said Brian McGuinness, Senior Vice President of Specialty Select Brands for Starwood.
