RP Group of Companies (RP Group) plans to invest Rs 1,000 crore in the hospitality sector in India during this year, according to a PTI report.
The company's immediate project is a five-star hotel in Kollam district in Kerala.
The group has also set up an international standard 16-storey mall which would have the first multiplex theatre in the Malabar region, as mentioned by Pillai. He said that the mall would occupy the first four floors while the other floors would be used for a four-star hotel with 74 rooms.
