Starwood Hotels & Resorts is set to open its Sheraton Macau Hotel in the centre of the Cotai Strip in September 2012, which will be both, the largest hotel in Macau and Starwood’s largest property globally. Josef Dolp, Managing Director, Sheraton Macau Hotel, Cotai Central said,“A much-anticipated landmark hotel for Macau and Starwood Hotels & Resorts globally, we are happy to be part of the vibrant and fast-developing Macau community, which has something to offer for both the business and leisure travellers. Its easy accessibility, rich cultural identity and vast entertainment options are defining Macau as the world’s gathering place.” The twin towers encompass seven restaurants and lounges, over 5,000 square meters of meeting space, two health clubs, a spa, and three outdoor swimming pools. The Asian seafood hotpot restaurant seats 237 and is inspired by a vibrant Asian seafood market. Other dining options include Bene Italian restaurant, Feast all-day dining restaurant, a tropical oasis-themed lobby lounge, two poolside cafes and a roof lounge, according to a report by Asia Travel Tips.
