NEWS| JW Marriott Marquis makes its debut in Dubai

The world’s tallest hotel, JW Marriott Marquis, recently made its debut in Dubai. The hotel has officially readied 804 rooms and suites, and three restaurants. At a height of 355 meters, the hotel is only 26 meters shorter than the Empire State Building in New York. The 82-storey property will have the rest of its 802 rooms, all nine restaurants, five bars and lounges open in January 2013.
The grand opening, however, is scheduled to be held in February next year, according to a report in Al Arabiya News. “The JW Marriott Marquis will add significantly to Dubai in its drive to become the preferred choice for meetings, incentives, conferences and events business,” Rupprecht Queitsch, General Manager, JW Marriott Marquis, said. “We are working in tandem with the Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing and Dubai Convention Bureau to put Dubai on the global business destination map,” he added.
