Sinclairs Hotels Ltd posted a total income from operations of Rs 309.57 lakh and a net loss of Rs 26.54 lakh in June-September, 2012. For the half year ended September 2012, total income from operations grew by 60 per cent to Rs 862.35 lakh over last year, while net profit stood at Rs 63.78 lakh, as against Rs 134.78 lakh in the same period last year.
Further, the company’s luxury hill resort at Kalimpong and tourist resort with a club and banquet complex in Burdwan, both in West Bengal, are in the final stages of completion and are scheduled to open by March 2013. The company is also executing a 112-room premier business hotel in Kolkata, for which it is awaiting final sanction, according to a press release.
